How OCTA League uses your data.

Who controls your data

OCTA League is operated by Hamza Ali, trading as OCTA League, who is the data controller for this beta.

What we collect

If you join early access, we collect your email address, username, optional group information, signup source, and limited analytics needed to operate and improve OCTA League. Existing beta accounts may also retain saved picks, feedback, and gameplay history.

Why we use it

We use this information to manage early-access invitations, operate the completed Freedom Cycle leaderboard, prepare the monthly game, and understand where the product needs improvement.

We process account and gameplay data to provide the beta service you request. We rely on our legitimate interests to secure, test, and improve OCTA League, and on your consent where the site specifically asks for it.

Who processes it

We use trusted hosting, authentication, database, and analytics providers, including Vercel and Supabase. They process data only to provide services to OCTA League. Where data is processed outside the UK, we rely on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.

How long we keep it

Early-access details are kept while we prepare and operate the launch, or until you ask us to remove them. Beta feedback and analytics may be retained for up to 12 months after the beta ends, unless we need to retain it for a legal or security reason.

Your choices

We do not sell your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your data, or withdraw your beta consent at any time.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
